Great bedtime routine, healthy sleep environment and nap times that support children's need for sleep.
Instructor: Dr Rahul BharatLanguage: English
Problem: If your child is having trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or wakes up too early in the morning, it can be very frustrating for everyone. You may feel like there's nothing you can do to help them sleep better at night. But that's not true! There are many things parents and caregivers can do to help kids get the rest they need to grow and develop properly.
We know how hard it is when your child doesn't sleep well because we've been there ourselves! Our founder is a specialist Paediatrician and has been advising parents on children sleep for many years. He researched everything he could about children's sleep disorders until he found answers that worked with many. He created this website so other families would have access to information about their options for improving their children's nighttime habits. And now we're here to help you find solutions that will work best for your family too!
Toddlers and children need to get enough sleep. When they do not, it can affect their behaviours and make them exhausted during the day, which causes more problems than before you started caring about how well your kid was doing at bedtime! I will now go through some information regarding what happens when kids don't get adequate rest so that we know why this might be happening, as well as provide ways parents could fix these issues quickly should our little one still suffer from bad nighttime habits
1) Understanding Sleep Initiation--sometimes called "sleep onset,"
2) "Why Does My Child Keep Waking Up At Night!?"
3) Common nighttime events- Nightmare, Night terror, Seizure, Restlessness
4) What can parents do to improve sleep
5) When to ask for a specialist to review
6) Role of medicine in sleep? How does melatonin work?
