Why this course?

Description

This course is designed for parents and professionals who work with children with cerebral palsy. It will help them understand the condition, its problems, and how they can support the child in a better way. This course offers a practical, evidence-based understanding of Cerebral Palsy (CP).

• The first chapter talks about the meaning of diagnosis and classification of CP. It also discusses other comorbidities that are associated with it like epilepsy, GMFCS classification etc.  
• The second chapter deals with early intervention which includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy etc.
• The third chapter focuses on MRI interpretation in Cerebral Palsy.
• The fourth one is all about understanding what parents need from us as professionals working in this field.
• In the fifth section we have discussed various treatment options available for people living with CP and finally last but not least; we have covered some important points at the end of every section which includes key takeaways from that particular topic along with references used throughout this course so that you can go through them if required later on!
